1E2 Book Of Legends
The Legend Of The Bleeding Pine Tree [Introduction]

Introduction
Thinking of a bleeding tree makes you think that this would be a very scary story…
But, how could there be such thing as a bleeding tree? Well, there is…

60 years ago, in an old village in Choa Chu Kang estate, there lived a beautiful, young girl who was 18 years old. Despite being bashful, she was beautiful, kind and filial to her parents. Her name was Felina.

There was an evil and lecherous bully in the village, Abul Salim; he was the most notorious person in the whole neighborhood. Abul Salim was mesmerized by Felina’s beauty and so he wanted to take Felina’s hand in marriage. Knowing that Abul Salim was notorious, Felina and her mother were taken aback and immediately refused Abul Salim’s proposal.

[Body]
Abul Salim was angry on the refusal and this made him thirst for revenge. One night, after Felina finished collecting the laundry, she went to the forest in search of her childhood pine tree; on the tree were carvings of pictures she and her brother carved when they were young. The siblings loved each other and once in a while when Felina missed her brother who was always away on business trips, she would come here, leaning against the pine tree and looked at the stars.

[Climax]
Just when Felina was getting ready to go back home to sleep, the bushes started to brush against each other. Felina thought it was just the wind, or was it? “Whoosh…!” A dark shadow rushed by Felina. She trembled in fear. Stood rooted to the ground, Felina shivered, “Is anybody there? Hello?”
Suddenly, someone from behind knocked her out!

[Ending]
When Felina woke up from the concussion, she realized that she was tied to the pine tree. She looked up and a glint of light flashed past her eyes. Then, she noticed that it was Abul Salim, holding a knife in his hand! Felina struggled to break free, but it didn’t even helped, as the rope sunk deeper into her skin, and it felt as a million tiny needles was pricking her skin. Abul Salim whispered in a dangerously, soft voice, “It’s of no use… the more you struggle, the more it will hurt.” With a grin on his face, Abul Salim started ripping off Felina’s blouse. Felina screamed for help, but to no avail. Felina knew that she could not break free just with her bare hands, so she frantically searched for the knife that Abul Salim threw on the ground. She tried to stretch and reach for the knife but as she struggled, her hand got hurt by the rope and started bleeding.

But, as far as she could, Felina reached for the knife and finally got it, and as fast as lightning, the rope got cut off! She kicked Abul Salim away and tried to escape, with her torn blouse and skirt. As she ran, she shouted, “Help! Help! Save me!! After Abul Salim stood up and regained his balance, he ran after Felina, with one hand holding the knife.

Just then, Sean returned to the village and went back to the hut in search of his beloved sister, but, all he could found were pieces of laundry lying around the table. Sean knew that his sister would go to the pine tree to look at the stars, so, as he approached the forest, he heard the screams of a girl. He then realized that it was Felina! Sean ran towards the voice of Felina and saw Felina running away from a man. As Felina saw her brother, she knew that there was hope as Sean practiced martial arts. Sean saw the knife on Abul Salim’s hand and he kicked it away. Sean snatched the knife from the ground and the two men fought their way back to the pine tree.

After fighting their way back to the tree, Sean had already found Abul Salim’s weak spot and decided to strike at his heart with the knife. Leaning against the tree, Abul Salim tried to dodge Sean’s attack but he was too late. The knife pierced through Abul Salim’s heart and right into the tree trunk. The blood of Abul Salim flowed down from the tree as if the tree was bleeding. Felina was scared, and so, Sean took away the knife and Felina back to the hut and took it as if nothing had happened.

A few days later, Abul Salim’s corpse was nowhere to be seen, as Abul Salim was an evil guy, no one bothered to investigate the matter further. He died in vengeance… A few years later, when people walked past the pine tree, a puddle of blood would appear beside the tree and a man would be seen leaning against the tree with a knife in his heart.

Now, the tree had been chopped down to build the railway tracks, but, when the passengers in the train went pass that area where the pine tree stood, they could see an illusion of the tree still being there. And this concludes the legend of the bleeding pine tree.

The moral of the story is: It is of no use to force others into doing things that they are not willing to do.
The End

SORRY![ Yesterday forgot to put post .. too busy doing the skin.]Anyways the CNY celebration ROCKS! Liked the shuffle dance part most. Too bad i can't learn shuffle dance. It's very cool. One of my classmate was so shocked when miss Ang came out and sing on the stage wih some other school girls. I just maked noises and clapped there's nothing to be shocked about, just surprised. The puppet performence was quite nice too. The CNY celebration was a blast! MY class gain 1st merit in the CNY decoration competition. I'd rather get champion or maybe second place. Well, anyways it'd already happened and can't be change. Maybe next year I may be part of the celebration.

My Sec 1 Orientattion camp ! :D Let me share to you about my first camp in ZhengHua Sec School . 1st day~~I was so excited about the camp! (I always feel excited about these things) I was so scared i forgot to bring anything so i double checked my items .. i found out that ... Nothing was missing! Hahas ! When I reached school at 11 p.m. i saw that half of my friends were already there ! .. Wow all so "kiasu" . No offence .. We sat in the Hall for like about a few hours to let the councilors a.k.a facs /facilitators to settle everything first . I wanted to take pictures of the camp but they took away our valuables for "safe" keeping . They say until so nice "safe" but actually is confiscating .. Hahas ! some people does not want to give up their valuables and the teachers say okay nevermind if lost right they can't help it . We then started to set out for our campsite .. (reached) We settled down quickly infront of the canteen . By the way , our campsite is located at Changi so alot of aeroplanes passs by every 5 minutes or so (you may be wondering how we sleep at night but I'll safe that for later) .After everything was taken care of we went to our meeting place (a place where we meet when we are practising for cheers etc.) Cheers are taught and games are played .. (Reaching dinner time...) Fac A shouted ,"Kay ! let's do the Gako (the frog)cheer!" 1E2 councilours sang to us 1 time . 1 classmate said , " What kinda * language is that!" Fac A said, " Japanese." The same classmate said, " We are Singaporeans marh, why must we speak Japanese leh?" The facs were getting fed up by then .. Fac B then said " Okay then let's do the Bimbo Cheer." The facs sang it to us 1 time . Classmate B yelled , "eeeyer, i don't want to be bimbo leh!" The facs were raging by now, that they stopped talking and hide in one corner. (Dinner time) we went for dinner and then went back to our meeting place. The facs by then were not so angry anymore and we continued to do cheer until... We were all too noisy and were asked to be silent.Fac A Shouted, " give me 1 silent clap!! " The class clapped but they continued talking as if nothing had happened. That made the facs very very very sad. Then, they hid at 1 corner again. This time it was much more serious as his was our third offence. THe facs from the other classes gave us a scolding. Some of us were remourseful and felt guilty. We went to bathe and then sleep.Day 2Yay N.E. Hike day ! We went for our hike around Changi. We walk and walk and walk for long, long, long hours. The hike was like never ending . But , the good thing was the facs were friends with us again ! Woohoo! That walk was much more relaxing. we went to see alot of things on our hike like the Changi Chapel & Museum , Changi Prison (only the fence that cover the whole thing!), the monster gun place, Changi Village and Changi Beach. after all that, we went back to the campsite and ate dinner , do cheers , bathe then sleep. I am finally telling you how we sleep at night haha forget about that already , right? We sleep very soundly at night because .. we were forced to ... thats the way we sleep we sleep we hate it we sleep we sleep... HaHas .Day 3The day of Rafting and high/low ropes element courses! We went for the High/Low ropes element first and some were too afraid to try the Flyingt Fox so they back out .. I didn't really did until the high ropes accept for the flying fox if counted as one. The flying fox was super duper fun ! 2 of my classmates who really wanted to try the flying fox could not do so as Classmate C do not dare to jump down and took 45 minutes to get ready. The low ropes have their difficulties as you will need to use alot of mental power to complete them. The next activity was rafting. We took about i think more than 1hour to learnt how to tie knots and do lashing so as to tie our raft. It took alot of hard work to finish our raft with 6 pipes and 4 barrels ... Many people were injured even before they took their class raft out to sea. As we need to do a water confident test before entering the sea with our raft , we need to do it in the more shallow part of the sea and that is beside a clift. the clift is very rough as many shells were sticking onto it .. people cut themselves and whatsoever. I didn't got hurt , because i was lucky. It'll be much worst if you went onto your raft. My group was the last to finish our raft and didn't get the chance to go in to the sea and another group because there were too many victims. So sad . A the end of the day, we went to bathe , ate dinner , prepare for the campfire , played a bonus game and then to sleep. The bonus game goes like this, the camp commity gives you an egg ,a trash bag , newspapers and masking tape. You are to thing of a way to not let the egg break if u throw the egg to the ground with a hard force/from a high place. Each class was split into 2 groups and to figure out how to do it. My gropu wrapped the egg into a dinosaur like ball thingy. Do you guys think it'll work well guess for yourself :DDay 4The last day of camp..We had to leave this place already. We were all so happy to go home but before we do that we had to clean our designated area which is the toilet . Eeew ,right? We had a hard time cleaning the toilet but it worked out nice. after cleaning up we went home.

H1N1- reflections

The H1N1 thing is so troublesome, our school is taking alot of precautions. Examples, our canteen had changed alot so as to prevent us from getting too close together. Other classes cannot seat at the same table with us. We must queue up outside the canteen before getting in, only 3 person at a time can go queue at each stall inside the canteen. We will have to take temperatures 2 times every day, even at Saturdays and Sundays.
iI think that this is getting very very annoying. I am still scared of H1N1even th0ugh it is not fatal, but i do not wish to spread it to my 5 years old brother. I hope that this disease will die of soon.

June holiday reflections...
Thursday, July 2, 2009

Hi,
During my June holiday I went to several Barbeque, leading to sorethroats and others. All those Barbeque was fun yet tiring. Going to too many Barbeque is definitely not a GOOD thing. It may be tasty food but they are so unhealthy, so decided to eat vegetables for the next month for dinner. Over the month, to be truth, i have gained some weight, wanted to cut down on meat but just couldn't stop getting tempted. Besides many barbeque, I also had a lot of fun with my parents ( mostly mum) . Went to Viena(seafood buffet restaurant) with siblings and mum, had a lot of delicious food(e.g. Roasted beef, lobster salad, sirloin steak etc.). Holiday was fun but now it has ended, so here it ends!

ByeBye
